Augusta Art Tour

The Augusta Art Tour, presented by the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art, is a unique opportunity to explore the world of art through the eyes of the collector as well as the maker.  The Augusta Art Tour sets itself apart from traditional home tours by showcasing the displays and collections of local art enthusiasts and artist studio spaces, with the goal of inspiring people to grow their own collection of art while supporting local artists and cultural institutions that might be off the beaten path.

Friday nights Preview Party will be held at the home of Dennis and Teri Moore Sodomka and will include a raffle for artwork, drinks and light hors d'oeuvres.

Saturday’s tour will feature several artist studio’s as well as the Sodomka home and tickets can be purchased in advance or with exact cash the day of the event. A map will be provided along with information on where to purchase artwork locally and tips on beginning a collection.
