Learn how to create your own collage material using a variety of acrylic painting techniques. Make your own unique collage papers with paint, patterns, textures and expressive marks, to create simple, but dynamic collages. Let your creativity run wild, as we will explore abstract composition, play, make a mess, and have a whole lot of fun in the process. 

This one day workshop includes a break for lunch. The first half of the day will be spent demonstrating a variety of techniques for creating unique one-of-a-kind collage papers. The second half of the day will be spent assembling the papers we’ve created into exciting abstract compositions.

***Supplies included, but students may feel free to bring in any of your favorite paints, brushes, or items like expired credit cards or toothbrushes to help manipulate the paint
