WATERCOLOR: SUMMER STILL LIFE

This class will be like a trip to the sea shore. The instructor will provide students with shells, driftwood, and other objects one finds on the beach for which each student will set up their own summer still life to paint. This class will help you build confidence in the application of layering color on color in which to achieve a desired result. Students will develop an understanding of the medium and how to use basic techniques to achieve various textures in watercolor. Instruction will be given by a full time watercolorist of over thirty five years experience on the application of washes, layering, masking, and methods of rendering various textures. A step-by-step approach will provide the foundation needed to achieve exciting results in this medium.
